Mouawad’s 125th Grand Anniversary Celebration in Lebanon
Beirut – 25 September 2015
Beirut, September 27th: Grand Hills Hotel in Broumana, Lebanon was the stylish setting for a remarkable double celebration held on September 26th. Lebanon’s A-list gathered there for a memorable evening to mark the 125th anniversary of legendary diamond house, Mouawad, as well as to celebrate the reopening of Grand Hills, a Luxury Collection Hotel & Spa.
VIPs, top influencers, bloggers and media were present as Mouawad’s three co-guardians, Fred, Pascal and Alain Mouawad recounted the brand’s 125 years of legacy. A very special guest of honour was their father, Robert Mouawad. The three brothers, co-guardians Fred, Pascal and Alain Mouawad, released a joint statement that said: “As we look back on the history of Mouawad and celebrate its milestone achievement, there’s no place we’d rather be tonight than here, in Lebanon. It is the country of Mouawad’s origin, and we acknowledge with pride our cherished roots and give thanks to our friends and patrons who have made this possible.”
The evening began on a high note with “Mouawad Journey”, a themed animation show. The exclusive gala event that followed was a sparkling celebration of style and elegance featuring French Canadian singer Garou and a glittering line-up of models wearing some of Mouawad’s finest jewellery. Perhaps no setting was quite as appropriate for this stunning spectacle as that of the Starwood Hotels & Resorts- owned Grand Hills, an elegant sanctuary set in exquisite gardens amidst the rolling mountains of Broumana in Lebanon.
